He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Napont and Agnes Napont (Nanagaw); his grandparents, George and Hattie Nanagaw; his brothers, Ralph and Richard Napont; and his stepchildren, Daryl James Anthony, Donzell Rasch and Donnie Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Alvina Cornstalk Napont; his stepchildren, Brian Anthony (Diane) of Boyne City, Teresa Wabanimkee (Favian) of South Haven and Daneen (Anthony) of Bay Shore; and his siblings, Clifford Napont of Charlevoix, Mary Ann Boulton and Marilyn Napont of Petoskey. He is also survived by several step grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
