For Joyce Helene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward F. Flannery and Grace Donahue Flannery; and her husband Jerome Chanda. She is survived by: her children, John Chanda, Karen Christianson (Kenny) and Michele Lance (Ken); and her siblings, Gerry Flannery (Gianna), Alice Kubacki (Wayne) and Virginia Marotta. She is also survived by several grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (2200 W Republic Rd, Springfield, MO 65807).
