It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Larry Barnett Sr. of East Jordan, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Cuthbert "Bill" Barnett and Pauline Barnett (Nowland); and his siblings, Bonnie Hammond and William "Barney" Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Barnett of East Jordan; his children, Debbie RosKamp (Dave) of East Jordan, Carl Steuer (Kim) of Elk Rapids, James Larry Barnett, Jr. (Carolyn) of East Jordan, Julie Brooks (Chuck) of Wolverine and Daniel Thomas Barnett (Daphne) of East Jordan; his brother Dick Barnett (Elaine) of East Jordan; and his siblings-in-law, Bernard Hammond of East Jordan and Hope Barnett of East Jordan. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
