He is survived by: his wife Maxine Bye (Kirby); his son Nels Bye (Marsha) of Hillman; his brother-in-law John Kilcherman; his grandsons, Larry Bye, Jeremy Bye, Eric Alfredson and Neil Alfredson; his great grandchildren, Lauren Bye, Miranda Bye and Devin Bye; and his stepson Mitchell Dougherty.
