He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Castaneda and Sara Castaneda (Cortez). He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Castaneda of East Jordan; his daughters, Sonya Castaneda of Traverse City, Michelle Castaneda of Traverse City and Micha Castaneda of Old Mission; and his sisters, Matilda Razo of San Antonio and Josephine DeLaSantos of St. George, Utah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
