He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Florence Swain and Charles Swain; his wife Judy Acheson Swain; his former wife JoAnn Idell Swain; his brother Charles A. Swain, III; his children, Susan S. Faurot (Alexander), Stuart D. Swain (Toni) and Megan S. Bogle; and his grandchildren, Alexander Faurot, Katherine Bogle, William Faurot, Peter Bogle Jr., Harry Bogle, Skyla Swain and Keelen Swain.

Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Water Hospice.
