She was predeceased by: her daughter Carol Ann Baxter; her sister-in-law Iris Bodde; and her brother John Bodde. She is survived by: her spouse William Griffor; her children, Rosemary Schindler of St. Clair, Mark Griffor (Ruthann) of Austin and David Griffor of East China; her brother Frank Bodde of Virginia; her father Frederick Bodde of East China; and her siblings, Mary A. Bodde and Charity. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
