With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A. Bachler Jr. of East China, Michigan, born in Marine City, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Bachler and Emma Bachler; his wife Mary C. Senger; his daughter Susan Polio; his daughter-in-law Carrie Bachler; and his siblings, Dorothy McLean and Richard Bachler.

He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Bachler III, Mark Bachler, Mike Bachler (Donna) and Scott Bachler (Eileen); his son-in-law Sam Polio; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Joseph, Anthony, Emma, Kaley, Nicole, Trent, Zach, Aaron, Mary Kate, Maggie and Michael. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

When I heard of his passing I thought about the times when I was very young and I would watch him work in the shop at Bachler's Electric.
