He was predeceased by: his parents, George Guildenstein and Mabel Guildenstein; his spouse Lynn M. Hart; and his siblings, Evelyn Markel (Elmer), Alva Smarch (Harry), Ervin Guildenstein (Elsie) and Viola Stephan (John).
He is survived by: his children, Herbert J. Guildenstein and Shelly Andrews; his nephew Joe Stephan (Patty); and his close friends, Jim and Cliff Freeland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
