He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Phillips and Ina Phillips (George); his wife Carol Ann Tardiff; his children, Bruce Phillips of Florida, Carol Battiata (Ron) of East China, Cathy Dendel (Jeff) of Clawson, Chris Kennedy of Madison Heights, Don Phillips (Tina) of Warren and Cindy McMurray (Mike) of Troy; and his daughter-in-law Donna Phillips. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
