Amelia M. Greenia Obituary
In loving memory of Amelia M. Greenia of East China, Michigan, who departed this world on December 25, 2024 at the age of 90. Amelia leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gavin Blackwood and Amelia Blackwood; her husband Roy Anthony Greenia; her granddaughter Karli Anderson; and her siblings, Kathleen Blackwood, Dorthea Bishop (Roger), Gavin Blackwood and Elspeth Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Greenia (Joginder), MacKay Anderson (Jim), Ian Greenia (Terri), Monique Goetgeluck (Stephen), Craig Greenia, Kerstin Haase (Jim), Bruce Greenia (Ashley), Jocelyn Contesti (Tony) and Jared Greenia (Trish); and her grandchildren, Jessica (Brian), Erika, Roy (Becca), MacKenzie (Jeremy), Kelly, Joshua (Becca), Megan (Steve), Zachary, Lee, Raechel, Renae (Nicholas), Lauren, Devin, Anthony (Sarah), Eric, Ayden, Jagger, Roman, Luca, Wyatt, Quincy and Maximus. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, and several other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A rosary was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (4061 St Clair Hwy, East China, MI 48054). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (610 S Water St, Marine City, MI 48039).
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
