He is survived by: his siblings, Joan Barret (Jon), Irene Richter (Frank), Elizabeth Van Buskirk (Randy), Patricia Foder, Katheline Achatz, Grant Achatz (Sally), Jim Achatz (Sarah), Ben Achatz and Roger Achatz (Gayle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
