It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie McGowan of East China Township, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Nossal and Marie Nossal; and her brother Glenn Nossal. She is survived by: her husband Richard W. McGowan; her children, Richard M. McGowan, Sheryl Kosinski (Robert), Jill Gray, Kevin McGowan (Mary) and Sally McGowan (Fred Poppe); her grandchildren, J. P. Rafferty, Kelly Forster (Zachary), Megan Kosinski (Christian Bernardo), Sarah Murphy (Kyle), Bryan Gray and Kathleen McGowan; her great grandchildren, Aubrey and Violet; and her brother Ronald Nossal.
A rosary recital will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Assoc. or American Cancer Society.
