William Martin Biergans Obituary
We bid farewell to William Martin Biergans of Eagle, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 29, 2024 at the age of 94. William Martin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Biergans and Beatrice Biergans (Palmer); his former wife Jeanette Biergans; his son John Biergans; his sisters, Mary Margaret Winegar (Paul) and Gerry Sleight; and his brother-in-law James Briggs.
He is survived by: his wife Rev. Betty Smith; his daughters, Cheryl Roth (Mike), Mary Jo Wendling (Rob) and Beth Nelson (Tom); and his daughter-in-law Sue Biergans. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at 3:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM.
