He was predeceased by: his parents, Harm Bolhuis and Elizabeth Bolhuis (McDonald); and his siblings, Anna Watson and Garrett Bolhuis. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Apfel); his daughters, Susan and Lori; and his sister Minnie Snell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
