He was predeceased by: his daughter Kelly Joan Bison; and his brother William Bison. He is survived by: his parents, John Bison and Anna Bison (Nels); his wife Helen; his children, Michelle (Paul Compo), Laurie (Leonard Wittbrodt), Kristy Moesch, Jennifer (Scott Staley) and David (Lisa Bison); and his brother Richard Bison. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren who know him as "Buster", Jacob, Meghan, Shane, Tricia, Janet, Danielle, Molly, Matthew, Lauren, Allie, Nathan, Thomasin, Hadley, Vance, Myles; 12 great-grandchildren.
