With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elizabeth Follen of Durand, Michigan, born in Newton, Iowa, who passed away on April 28, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Townsend and Veva Townsend (Patterson); her husband Harold Laverne Follen; her sons, Douglas Follen (Shawn), Greg Follen (Debbie) and Todd Follen (Kelly); and her brother Myron "Butch" Townsend (Jo Ann). She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
