He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey and Shirley Pauline Bowen (Argetsinger). He is survived by: his significant other Michelle; his children, Russ Jr., Chrystal Kraiger (Matthew) and Ryanna Langkamp (Luke); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Dayton, Alyson and Grace; and his siblings, Rich Bowen (Debbie) and Rob Bowen.

Russ was a giving man and wouldn't let anyone go hungry, so donations in his name are suggested to the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.
