He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bowers and Velia Bowers (Edson). He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Rosser; his children, Bill Bowers (Judy) of Byron, Kathleen Spencer of Lansing, Jean Harty of Texas, Patricia Pettyjohn of Tennessee, Daniel Bowers (Carolyn) of Bancroft and Nancy Bowers (Ted Lynch) of Charlotte; and his siblings, Grace, Cecil, Bessie, Virginia, Edna and Gladys. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
