She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Alice Smith (Kitchen); and her siblings, Jim and Alma. She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Teresa Matejewski of Traverse City, Jeff (Kristy Deachin) of Farmington Hills and Greg (Sue Deachin) of Lansing; and her sisters, Cathy Cummings of Wolverine, MI and Candy (Russell Hubbard) of Bancroft. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Alzheimer's Association.
