We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2022, at the age of 85, Mary Nell Compton of Durand, Michigan, born in New Site, Mississippi passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Nell Compton to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McMullen and Mary McMullen (Brackeen); her husband Ray Compton; her close friend Richard Hasse; and her sons, David, Dewayne and Danny.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Bowen (Richard) and Mark Anthony Despain; and her siblings, Harold McMullen and Judy McMullen. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lodges of Durand.
