She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Akers and Barbara Akers (Newman); her stepfather James H. Adams; and her nephew Michael Gabriel Zsigo. She is survived by: her children, Michael Adkins (Carrie) and Misty Thomas (Chris); her grandchildren, Autumn, Abigail, Owen, Diamond, Carrie, Dillon and Haylee; her close friend Terry Lilleberg; her siblings, Randy Akers (Sue), James Akers (Sandy), Carmella Huff, Lisa Moreno (Mario) and Cassandra Friess; and her nieces and nephews, Chris Akers (Heather), Daniel Akers (Anna), Tim Akers (Brandy), Jamie Parker (Dan), Stephanie Loveless (Jordan), Bodray Willet, Megan Friess and Chase Friess. She is also survived by mom and spending time with her grandchildren.
