It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Belle Scripter of Durand, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cain and Stella Cain (Holler); her siblings, Darlene, Loren, Mark, Vickie, Susan, Duane, Neldon, Jeannie and Suzanne; and her grandson Colton.
She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Scripter; her children, Robert Jr. Scripter (Correnea), Stella Oller (Matt) and John Scripter (Amy); her grandchildren, Shawn, Timithy, Ryan, John Jr., Lizzie, Halea and Ronald; and her siblings, John Cain, James Cain (Carol), Cheryl Shilcutt (William) and Gary Cain (Peggy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
