It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Carsten (Durand, Michigan), who passed away on October 4, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Carsten; her children, Craig Carsten, David Carsten and Diane Carsten; her grandson Andrew Merrill; and her son-in-law Dennis Carrier.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Walter (Wally) of Mio, Linda Rexin (Mike) of Lennon, Jeffrey Carsten of Lennon and Susan Carsten of Durand; and her sister Patricia Roper of Durand. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter.
