She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Kucera and Agnes Kucera (Konecny); her husband Edward Okenka; and her sister Agnes Tomcala. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Root of Bancroft, Timothy Okenka (Sherry) of Washington Township and Kenneth Okenka of Wixom; and her grandchildren, Nicole Root (John Bowles), Mallory Root of Bancroft, Blake Okenka (Allison) of Sterling Heights and Samantha Szubielski (Matthew). She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
