He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Hart Sr. (Latham); his wife Kathy Hart; his sisters, Yvonne Milton and Sarah Ruggles; and his father James Hart Sr..
He is survived by: his sons, Al Hart (Michelle) and Bill Hart (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Cody Hart (Tia), Ty Hart (Jordyn), Katie Kaufman (Kyle), Kirsten Hart, Joshua Bohnard (Lyndsey), Bailey Zieba (Joshua) and Emily Dillon; and his brothers, James Hart Jr. and Walter "Bud" Hart. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:15 AM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel (501 N Saginaw St, Durand, MI 48429). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (224 W Washington Ave, Vernon, MI 48476).
