It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Navarre (Durand, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 12, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Diane Handwerker; his grandparents, Lou and Sylvia; and his adoptive father Jim Navarre. He is survived by: his father Melvin Plotkowski; his wife Jill Annette Stanfill; his children, Rosie Spencer (Niles), Amanda Snowden, Andrew Heath (Trisha) and Gabriel Heath (Haley); his grandchildren, Chase, Emma, Tucker, Ellie, Prim and Connor; his nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Heather, Brandon, Caitlin and Tyler; and his siblings, Dan Navarre (Pam), Paula Wiertalla (Joe) and Charlie Plotkowski.
Memorial contributions in Jim's name can be directed to the Durand Eagles Club where he was a member for 17 years.
