With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Vasicek of Durand, Michigan, born in Swartz Creek, Michigan, who passed away on August 31, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vasicek and Anna Vasicek; his son John Vasicek; his great grandchild Greyson Bowen; his brother David Vasicek; and his friend Bocek.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Walsh; his children, Pattie Sweet and Greg Vasicek (Linda) of Durand; his grandchildren, Courtney Bowen (Jeff) of Gaines, Joshua Vasicek (Trisha) of Durand, Jack Vasicek (Lane) of Durand, Haley Koc (Josh) of Durand, Garrett and Trevor Kett; his brothers, Fred Vasicek (Shirley) of Corunna, Don Vasicek of Corunna and Bob Vasicek of Swartz Creek; and his sister-in-law Alice Vasicek of Frankenmuth. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Contributions in Jack's name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Durand F.F.A. The family would like to thank all friends and family for their help and love.
