He is survived by: his wife Ruth Townsend; his sons, Douglas Follen (Shawn), Greg Follen (Debbie) and Todd Follen (Kelly); his grandchildren, Mike Follen (Ashley Bolin), Danielle Lab (Gavin), Sarah Noelke (Jared), Tom Follen (Sara), Brittany Follen (Adam Smith) and Elizabeth Follen (Cody Chase); his great grandchildren, Tommy Follen, Brady Lab, Mason Lab, Sydney Noelke, Jennifer Noelke and Mikynlee Follen; and his nieces, Kathy McNaughton and Julie McNaughton.
