She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest McKone and Lelah McKone (Beamish); her husband Eugene Friend; and her siblings, Carl McKone, Beth LaRauque and Peggy Prast.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Friend (Darlene), Leane Hoskins (Michael) and Kris Dagen (Dennis); and her siblings, Rex McKone, Joyce Elliott and Joy Longstreet. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
