He was predeceased by: his parents, Orland and Clara (Chalut); his daughter Pamela; and his sisters, Ella Marie Frazier, Francis Aardema and Katheryn Doyle.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Ames; and his sister Mary (George Holland).
