He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Venable and Opal Venable (Bolton); and his brother Jerry Venable. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Pierce; his children, Elizabeth Dunn (Jerry) and Lynn Venable Koch (Stephen); his grandchildren, David Adam, Taresa Sparks, Stephanie Hall, Olivia Koch and Blake Koch; his great grandchildren, Kai Adam, Whitney Parsons, Logan Adam, Jackson Sparks, Leah Sparks and Arya Lee; and his siblings, Jane Duncan, Joseph Venable and Edward Venable.
