She was predeceased by: her parents, James O'Lone and Frances O'Lone (Solek); her brother Richard O'Lone; her husband Max Duane Loss; and her daughter Cindy K. Marsh.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Loss (Deb) of Iowa City, Vicki Lautzenheiser (Dennis) of Jackson and Mark Loss (Diane) of Dundee; her grandchildren, Dr. Michelle Miller (Matt) of Iowa, Teresa Smucker of Indiana, Joel Loss of Iowa, Matthew Oppenheim (Michelle) of Grand Ledge, Dr. Joshua Oppenheim (Julie) of Kansas, Jacob Marsh (Indie) of South Korea, Jody Marsh of Dundee, John Miller of Petersburg, Mark Loss of Lambertville and Aaron Loss (Jordan) of Lambertville; and her great grandchildren, Haley, Brynn Miller, Kalvin Loss, Jacob, T. J. Smucker, Noah, Ella, Ava Oppenheim, Anthony Behring, Eleanor Marsh, Trent Miller, Camden and Henley Loss.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Joan's name may be made to the Dundee Township Fire Department or Dundee Area Senior Citizens Center.
