She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Coldwell. She is survived by: her children, Tom Coldwell (Clara) and Connie Edson (Eric); her grandson Spencer Coldwell; and her brother Rodger Kern (Brenda).

Although her love for reading brought her much happiness, the Covid pandemic sadly interrupted her participation in the program.
