It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald D. Stanifer of Dundee, Michigan, born in Monroe, Michigan, who passed away on February 27, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Stanifer and Helen Stanifer (Zimmerman); his wife Paulette R. Covert; his granddaughter Bianca Stanifer; and his brother Blaine Stanifer.
He is survived by: his children, David Stanifer (Paula) of New Boston, Dan Stanifer (Maria) of Monroe and Sherrie Simon (Chris) of Dundee; his siblings, Norma Linquist (Jack) of Monroe, Bill Stanifer (Sharon) of Flat Rock and Mary Urbanick of Wyandotte; and his grandchildren, Alicia, Joseph, Brandon, Nathan, Olivia, Nicole, Jacob and Kelsey. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
