It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene L Laney (Dundee, Michigan), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Jean Blake; and his siblings, Ralph Laney, Clarence Laney, Betty Phieffer, Elaine Ciaciuch June Snyder and Kenneth Laney.
He is survived by: his daughter Kris Rood (Fred); his brother Tom Laney; his grandsons, Michael Haskins (Danni) and Garrett Haskins; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Haskins, Griffin Haskins, Michael Haskins, Tatum Haskins, Sarah Beaushaw and Joseph Beaushaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The Dundee Michigan Veterans Club, 418 Dunham St, Dundee, Michigan 48131.
