He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schlaf and Harriet Schlaf (Sievers). He is survived by: his wife Audrey Schlaf; his daughters, Robin Mitschke of Charlotte, Denise Roberts (Tim) of Fenton and Bonnie Streit of Davison; his grandchildren, Matthew, Donald, Max, Audra, Tim, Lindsey, Josh, Nick, Tony and Sarah; his great grandchildren, CaMya, Donny, Jordan, Gabby, Hudson, Freya, Maximillian, Rose, Brandon and Ayden; and his siblings, Joan McLachlan of Crosswell, Don Schlaf (Rose) of Traverse City, Marilyn Richardson of Nevada, Carol Rhadigan of Florida, Rosemary McKinney of Oxford and Joe Schlaf of Kalkaska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
