Opal June Wetzel Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Opal June Wetzel of Dryden, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Brent and Hattie Sumpter (Ayers); her husband William C. Wetzel; her granddaughter Nicole Wetzel; and her siblings, Toby Sylvia, Bob of Herb, JB, George, Polly, Branda and Nancy.

She is survived by: her children, William Wetzel Jr. (Cindy) of Clayton and Cheryl Brough of Dryden; her grandchildren, Amanda Wetzel, Mike Wetzel, Danielle Brough (Chris) and Nick Brough; her great grandchildren, Angel and Luke; and her siblings, Pat Sumpter of Kentucky and Pam Sumpter of Salem, Indiana..
