He is survived by: his son Chris Hettinger (Jessie) of Dryden; his granddaughters, Katelyn Hettinger of Dryden and Grace Hettinger of Dryden; and his siblings, Mary Hettinger, Keitha McDonald, Sue Meyer (Mac), Mike Swenson, Fran White, Bonnie Blanchard and Patty Hall (Jon). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
