With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harry D. Akers of Dryden, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Akers and Harriet Akers (Reiserer). He is survived by: his wife Janet Akers (Phillips); his daughter Michele Berg (Ned) of Rochester Hills; his grandson Joshua Berg; and his siblings, Genareed Durbin, Kendall Akers (Renee), Janice Lorenz (Bob) and Carla Hinsley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hunters Creek Community Church.
