He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil James and Irene James (Bertrand); his stepmother Red; and his siblings, Chuck James (Ellie), Joy Robertson and Bill Robertson (Jean).
He is survived by: his daughter Vernetta Lipka (Jim); his grandsons, Stanley James Mersino III (Dan VanWingerden) and Trenton Oliver Mersino; and his brothers, Bruce, Don and Doug Robertson.
