It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Mina Shivers of Dryden, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle "Jack" DuChene and Hazel DuChene (Johnson); her husband Raymond Shivers; and her brothers, Albert DuChene, George DuChene and Joseph DuChene.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond Shivers of Dryden and Cindi Kelly of Lapeer; her grandson Sean Kelly of Lapeer; and her sister Mary Taboas of Kokomo, Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear friends.
