Carl August Bucht Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2021, at the age of 80, Carl August Bucht (Drummond Island, Michigan), born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilka Heinonen Bucht and Sune August Tapani Bucht; his wife Bonnie; his sister Ruth Klamerus; and his parents-in-law, Helen LaPointe McInnes, Lorraine McInnes Hirth, Blanche McInnes Isaacson, Elaine Parrish McInnes Nixon, Woodrow "Woody" Nixon, Glen Bitowski, James Schultz, Katherine McInnes, Daniel Gable, Jeannine McInnes Gable and Lauchlan "Herk" McInnes.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Isaacson; his niece Carlene; his grandchild Kelly; his children, Carlene MacGregor (Patrick), Michael Bucht (Amy Jubb) and Kelly Melvin (Dale); his siblings, Ann Bitowski Schultz and Sune E. Bucht (Carol Claphan); his parents-in-law, Harry Hirth, JoEllen Steib McInnes and Vincent Klamerus; his grandchildren, Zachary, Blake Melvin, Connor of Julia Goroski, DVM, Shea MacGregor, Colton, Cade and Kelsie Bucht; and his friends, James, Jayne Gustafson (Bailey), Steve Hirth, Andrew, Timothy, Robert Gable and Richard Socia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a multitude of extended family.
His final job - until COVID - was evening closing of Sune's IGA Market - established by his grandparents, now passed down to his daughter, Kelly and her family.
