He was predeceased by : his mother Janithe Rentfro; and his stepfather Jim Bishop, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Dena Rentfro (Mitchell); his siblings, Bonnie Collins, Leslie Morgan (Marv), Audrey McCarthy and Jim Bishop (Pam); his sons, Jeff Wilsey (Dani) and Chad Wilsey (Joan); and his grandchildren, Jathan, Taylor, Andi Wilsey, Payton Wilsey, Jake Barton (Megan) and Stefani Pesl (Colin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riverside Country Club.
