He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Rodgers and Albert Rodgers; his wife Kathleen Poling; his daughter Marilyn McCarrick; his sons-in-law, Terry Garrison and Robert Gladney; and his son Timothy Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Gillean (Gary), Joel Rogers Jr., Sandy Gladney, Jim Rogers and Bonnie Vallance. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
