It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dee Defields of Dowling, Michigan, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dee Defields to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Zajchowski and John Zajchowski; and her sister Irene Karas. She is survived by: her husband Art DeFields; her daughters, Amy Mackay (William) and Ann Marie Villarreal (Patrick); her stepchildren, Christopher DeFields (Carrie) and Denise Pajak (John); her grandchildren, Ally, Carson Driscoll, Jack and Sam Villarreal; and her siblings, Sophie Solecki and Mitch Zajchowski (Joan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Delton Kellogg Education Foundation, PO Box 124, Delton, MI 49046, which provides grants to enhance classroom learning opportunities in the school district.
