He was predeceased by : his parents, William Johnson and Beatrice Johnson; his brother Richard Terry Johnson; and his nephew Owen Fiske. He is survived by : his wife Carol Ann Johnson (Edwards); his children, Heidi Johnson of Bowling Green, KY and Eric Johnson (Katrina) of Sparta, NJ; his granddaughters, Laura and Rebecca Johnson; and his nieces and nephews, Kyla Fiske, Lauren Johnson, Emily Edwards, Colin Fiske and William Johnson.
