It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Earl Slocum of Dowling, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth R. Slocum and Esther Mae Slocum (Hunt); his son Robert Slocum; and his brothers, Robert Burman and Kevin Slocum.

He is survived by : his wife Caroline Elaine Slocum (Felder); his children, David Slocum II (Shannon) and Victoria Alt (Dan); his daughter-in-law Rachel Slocum; and his siblings, Tyann Drake (Bob) and Jerry Slocum. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
