It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Schleusener (Dowagiac, Michigan), who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Schleusener and Lilly Schleusener; his brother Elton Schleusener; and his sister-in-law Vada Schleusener. He is survived by: his wife Myra Schleusener; his daughters, Julene Petersen (Keith) and Teresa Dohm (Erick); and his siblings, Cynthia Cahill (Jack), Brenda Stanley (Mike) and Keith Schleusener. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Dowagiac (603 Mc Cleary St, Dowagiac, MI 49047). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church-Dowagiac for WELS Missions (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod).
