We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2022, at the age of 80, Wayne K. Mattix of Dowagiac, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Mattix and Doris Mattix (Phillips). He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Michael Mattix (Tracy) of Coloma and Melissa Mattix of Dowagiac; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Pierce (Zac), Rebecca Thar (Tony), Courtney Hennen (Sean), Cierra McCaffrey (Brendan) and Kenneth Isaac Mattix; his great grandchildren, Abbi, Parker Pierce, Taylor Thar, Foster Hennen, Bryon, Jonathan, Killian and Neila McCaffrey; and his brothers, Garland Mattix (Karyl) of Kalamazoo and Michael B. Mattix (Melonie) of Dowagiac. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews; and friends.

Memorial donations in Wayne's name may be made to Caring Circle Hospice or Cass Co. Firefighters Association.
